While most weddings have many of the same recurring elements there are always things throughout each day that make every one unique. When I arrived, sweet Ashlee was already dressed and looking like a real, live Disney princess. We were able to spend some relaxed time together before braving the cold before she met Jonathan at the top of the aisle.I love the sweet nods to Jonathan's Mexican heritage - the lasso tradition (El Lazo) which is a symbol for a lasting love and union. Even the rich, fall color and cut of Jonathan's suit felt like an homage to who he was and I have a special place in my heart for the traditional and for the unconventional. These also happen to be some of my very favorite reception photos. While uplighting at your reception can be very specific, I think it also creates a fun vibe like they did for so many of these.
