brandon + Rachel | burnside farms sunflower engagement session

After rescheduling their engagement session because of the weather and trying to catch the sunflowers at peak bloom - Brandon, Rachel and I finally made it to Burnside Farms. Of course, the day we settled on we all arrived and the sky opened up. Big time. We settled in and waited in our cars for about an hour and things started to clear - and we decided to make a run for it. I have never been so thankful to have waited out a storm and for clients like Brandon and Rachel who have incredible patience. The fields were stunning, the sunset was perfect and we got not one, but two rainbows! No matter how many times I visit the sunflower fields - it’s always pretty amazing to see in person and this day? Absolutely no exception. Mother Nature is such an amazing gift.
