Brandon + Tiffany | Historic mankin mansion richmond, va wedding

One of the things that makes getting to do this job so incredibly interesting - is working at different venues. Ask any wedding photographer and they likely have a list of places they’d love to work at for any number of reasons. When I tell you that The Historic Mankin Mansion wasn’t on my radar and now I can’t wait to go back? Not even a slight exaggeration. Located in Richmond, VA - it is such an incredible gem. A mix of contemporary, old Hollywood and classic glamour - it is a DREAM venue. This venue plus Brandon and Tiffany? DREAM WEDDING DAY.

I could write you a thesis paper about how rad a bride Tiffany was. Calm, cool, collected (AND BEAUTIFUL!) in the face of a lot of hurdles on her day. From the moment I walked in - she was smiling and letting things be. Her bridal party was in a word - fantastic. A testament to choosing people who understand that their role is to support and love you on your day.

Covid has largely robbed us of the ability to see each other smile - a thing that’s really disheartening when you smile as much as I do :) - but on Tiffany and Brandon’s big day I laughed and smiled so hard behind that mask! Here’s hoping that sooner, rather than later - we’re all seeing each other smile again, without fear and bonus points if I get to do that at Historic Mankin Mansion!
