Surprisingly enough - for someone who works in and around the Washington, DC metro area - I don’t end up near The Lincoln Memorial very often. However - I’m so happy that Daraja chose to have her graduation photos taken there on a beautiful and sunshine-y morning. This is where I will continue to proselytize to you how life’s moments - both big and small are worth heralding. Birthdays, job promotions, finding a parking space in downtown DC? All those things are worthy of celebration. Taking your photo to capture a moment in life that you (or someone who loves you!) might want to look back on? DO IT. You’ll never regret having photos of special moments in your life but you might regret not having them.
