It might seem silly to some people but for me - one of the real gifts of being a working photographer is seeing love in motion. When two people are on the brink of something so special & sweet and you get to be a part of it? It makes everything so worth it. Emil & Nina were exactly that - vibrating with a love that was palpable.Their love story begins in the LeDroit Park neighborhood of Washington, DC (hence the sign!) and my goal was to not only highlight them, but use the city as a backdrop for all of the good things. Also, special shout out to their sweet and lovable pit bull, Monty AKA Monster who came to support his parents.
