Let me tell you that even though these two brought the heat - the day we took their maternity photos was aggressively cold and windy. Still, we toughed it out and I am obsessed with these images in every way imaginable. Maternity photos don’t have to be delicate or taken in a field of flowers. You don’t have to just wear pink or blue. Your body will tell the story of what’s happening pretty clearly and so the photos are just a fun way to document how your life is about get flipped, turned upside down (bonus points if you catch that reference).

Also, maternity sessions can be solo, with your person, with your other family, with your pet - or whatever you want them to be. Pregnancy is such a miraculous time to capture happiness and love.
