Jason + Lauren | Air Force Memorial Surprise Proposal Photographer

Jason proposed to Lauren on a drizzly day in January. If you read that sentence it might even seem kind of crazy but this is where I tell you that it was perfect. Jason and I had discussed how to hatch and execute the proposal without Lauren ever being aware that I was there so every bit of her reaction? It is pure happiness and joy. While I can appreciate the pomp and circumstance of rose petals or a crowd - there is so much beauty in simplicity. Just Jason, Lauren and despite the grey of the day - a pretty decent view of Arlington and DC. Happiness is not one size fits all and you should always just trust your gut and do what feels right and good.
