This is me telling you to celebrate yourself. Every chance you get - celebrate yourself. Fancy dinner? Do it. New outfit? Do it. Scheduling a promotion/graduation/birthday photoshoot? Do it. Life is too short to not be out here celebrating every win. One of the things I deeply love about Krysten’s spirit is her commitment to the celebration of self. This was our third or fourth session with her in front of my camera and they absolutely just continue to delight me. She always has a vision and we always execute.

This birthday session is giving me Olivia Pope (when Scandal was good!) and powerful icon energy and I could not love it more. Shot on an early morning at The Lincoln Memorial - they just feel so perfect to celebrate another trip around the sun.
