I want to tell you how leading up to Shane and Marissa’s backyard wedding it rained. A LOT. Not just a regular amount of rain but a - do we need a small boat kind of rain. And then it didn’t rain for a day or two and it looked like things might be okay. But it rained. We managed to make it to the start of their reception before the skies opened up and when they did? It was pretty epic. And still - no big deal. Rain is not the absolute worst thing that can happen on a wedding day - and it never stopped the newlyweds from having the time of their lives. And all the time leading up to the rain was blissfully happy - full of very intimate moments, laughter and love. The rain was the absolute furthest thing from anyone’s mind until it needed to be of any concern.

I want you to know no matter what happens on your day - I’m going to be there and we’re going to have a good time and we’re going to make amazing memories because it’s YOUR day and a little (or a lot of!) rain isn’t going to stop it.
