THE GRAYS | Gunpowder Falls State Park VOW RENEWAL

The Grays decided to celebrate a milestone anniversary with their kids and my intrepid camera in tow. At a quiet little space we carved out on an incredibly busy day at Gunpowder Falls State Park - they renewed their vows while one of their sons captured the quiet ceremony on an iphone. Post renewal - we spent some time taking photos of their family and it was honestly. - perfect. Sometimes the idea(s) we have about what a vow renewal, elopement or a wedding should be can get in the way of simplicity. There is something to be said about the intimacy of having your kids be present to understand that love can be celebrated in ways both big and small. And being the broken record that I am - these milestone moments of your life should look exactly as you want them to - be it 10 or 200 people - you get to be the decider.
