The Shepards | Woodend Sanctuary Wedding Photographer

I am so impossibly thankful for each and every couple who chooses to spend their wedding day with me but when I tell you that I will forever and ever LOVE Rob and Kate? I am not even kidding in the least. We had the best engagement session and we honestly just connected from our very first meeting. This is where I tell you that even if you like a photographer's work, if you don't like them in person? They are not for you. You spend so much time in communication with your photographer leading up to your wedding and then spend one of the most important days of your life with them - you should like them. They should make you feel your absolute best, be easy and accessible. If they're none of these things? Don't torture yourself.

Thankfully, Rob, Kate and I fit together and I could not be happier. Their Woodend Sanctuary Wedding was an absolute dream. I'd previously photographed another wedding there so I was familiar with what a stunning venue it was and it absoutely did not disappoint. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you though that it was COLD but sweet Kate was committed to being outside and that is what happened and every moment of it was beautiful and so reflective of the two of them.

I love a wedding that has lots of small details that just feel good. Thanks to Ida Rose Events - Kate and Rob's wedding had those elements. They were an absolute dream team to work with and made my job so much easier. If it is in your budget - hire a day of coordinator, you will not regret it!
