Dakota and Veneera’s intimate wedding had so many small moments that felt personal and intentional. Weddings can quickly take on a life of their own. Spiraling budgets, differing opinions and pressure to do all the things. Somehow, these two managed to have a day that felt very true to who they are as a couple - easygoing, relaxed and still have an incredibly good time in spite of the sweltering temperatures.

I loved V’s unconventional dress and Dakota’s floral tie. The colors at their summer wedding? PERFECT. While our brains often think of certain colors as being seasonal - if you like pink and want to have it at your fall wedding? DO THAT. Because (my billionth reminder!) - your wedding should be a reflection of the things you and your person like and want to see documented!
