Trust. Tiny word with SO MUCH potential, right? I don’t, for one second, take for granted how much trust goes into choosing me to document important milestones in your lives. I take your trust and in turn, work to show you that I am capable and knowledgeable and that your happiness is at the top of my priority list at all times. The day that these photos were captured - we had very different plans for where the session was going to happen. HOWEVER - Mother Nature had other plans for us with a unexpected and steady downpour so, sitting in our cars we made a plan and moved to a location that gave us some shelter. If you know anything at all about Washington, DC - you know that during peak tourist season there is not a single monument that is not teeming with tourists and The Lincoln Monument is absolutely one of this. And yet - because Briana and Tre trusted me - we were able to create these images that feel intimate, quiet and romantic amidst a sea of roughly a bazillion people.
