I love getting to photograph other creatives! While one of the things I do most often is headshot photography – pivoting and doing that for someone who works in a creative space really can be so lovely because my subjects get to let down their proverbial hair. These photos of Yodith, taken around Anacostia in SE DC are just so lovely and fun to me. They are easy, show her personality and the light for her session was just absolutely stunning. This is a poignant reminder that headshots don’t have to be boring. They can be relaxed, colorful and fun and still be incredibly useful.
