Weddings are an interesting industry to work within simply because no matter where marrying people are coming from in their lives - so many of the elements span location, religion and everything in-between. There is still something incredibly beautiful about witnessing two people commit their lives to one another in a space that feels quite solemn and intimate as The Diyanet Center of America. The Diyanet Center of America is located in Lanham, MD and is honestly one of the most beautiful examples of architecture I’ve seen in this area. It was a stunning backdrop to Abduselam and Nina’s nikkah ceremony and reception with their enthusiastic friends and family. Every part of the couple’s day felt personal and intentional and I remain obsessed with the deeply colorful and rich aesthetic woven throughout every part of the day.
