Ali and Ben got up at the literal crack of dawn to come hang out in front of my camera and look at them - it was worth it! We split their sweet engagement session between Gravelly Point and Old Town Alexandria and I love how relaxed and comfortable their photos feel, also - mega bonus points for including their sweet pup.

Engagement photos are a fantastic time to get to know one another. For me to see how you move as a couple and individually and it’s a chance for you to see how I work so that on your big day - you feel calm and ready to be photographed instead of nervous.

This is also an evergreen reminder that engagement sessions can be done literally anywhere. Your home, a neighborhood you like, at a coffee shop (with permission!) - you can pretty much choose your own adventure.
